Medtronic MiniMed® distributes two versions of the Quick-Set® infusion set:

  • Proprietary insulin reservoir connection ("Paradigm"®)
  • Standard insulin reservoir connection ("luer lock")

    • Both versions of the Quick-Set® are identical except for the type of connection to the insulin reservoir.

    Anyone using a Medtronic Paradigm® insulin pump with the Paradigm® version of the Quick-Set® can safely and easily use the standard luer lock Quick-Set® version.

    How?

    By substituting the Medtronic Paradigm® insulin reservoir (MMT-326A or MMT-332A) with its standard luer lock equivalent which is the FIFTY50® insulin reservoir (1850 or 3070). FIFTY50® reservoirs are manufactured by Applied Diabetes Research.
